Munevo is a German MedTech startup that developed the Munevo Drive, a smart glass based solution that helps people with disabilities to get mobile independently.

With its intuitive operation, the patients are able to control their wheelchair with only head movements, improving their life immensely. Being an innovation that transforms the everyday life of people with disabilities, Munevo decided to look into the potential of the Dutch market.

In order to validate its value proposition and to get a sense of the B2B market potential, Munevo teamed up with MedScaler to perform an initial market exploration in the Dutch healthcare market, where more people with disabilities can contribute from this innovation.

Neurab is an Italian startup that has developed the Neurotablet, a neurocognitive rehabilitation device for patients with brain injury. Rather than doing manual exercises on paper, patients and caregivers are offered a personalised, digital exercise program combined with an easy-to-use tablet.

MedScaler and Neurab partnered up in to perform an Initial Market Exploration in the Dutch healthcare market. While exploring the initial interest amongst hospitals, centers for rehabilitation care, centers for disabled care and centers for elderly care, we received a lot of positive responses. We are now continuing with the Market Integration module during which, together with experts and healthcare professionals, we will carefully map the implementation setting, buying decisions, stakeholder system and identify potential bottlenecks.

Balanseat is an Israeli start-up founded by an occupational therapist* who missed an essential part in our current rehabilitation and fall prevention equipment. They developed a new mechanism to further advance the care standard for people with mobility problems.

In their preparations to launch their first product and further collect scientific evidence, they identified the Netherlands as a suited market to do this. They had a need for strong market insights and proposition validation at their future potential customers.

With our strong knowledge of the Dutch care and reimbursement system and a lean set up customer validation, we provided them with all the needed knowledge and a list of potential customers. After this, they came to the Netherlands to meet with several of our relations and found three partners for a multicenter clinical trial.

RenalTracker is a start-up on a mission to reduce the prevalence of kidney failure and improve the health of people who suffer from Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). They moved from the US to the Netherlands and landed in the Rockstart Digital Health Accelerator.

RenalTracker’s business model was fully based on B2C sales, depending on the willingness-to-pay of individuals. In order for them to reach the next level, they needed to explore the potential of their solution in the B2B market. This in order to delay dialysis for more people and to integrate flawlessly in renal care process.

We were asked by RenalTracker to identify the potential opportunities for their solution in the Dutch care system. After identifying every possible opportunity for RenalTracker to fit in or around existing renal care processes, we started reaching out to the different stakeholders involved to validate our concept propositions. By getting input directly from potential customers or collaborators, we quickly narrowed it down to a shortlist of top opportunities. This enabled Renal Tracker to validate their B2B opportunities and start acting upon them right after.
